Insider knowledge PU foam can recycling
for recycling PU foam cans
In Germany, around 23 million polyurethane foam cans (PU foam cans) are used every year. Legislation classifies used PU foam cans as hazardous waste and stipulates that they must be recycled. They do not belong in the residual waste, yellow bag, construction waste, commercial waste or tinplate containers. PDR offers the optimum solution and collects PU foam cans nationwide. In Thurnau in Upper Franconia, over 95% of the cans, including the residual contents, are recycled. This take-back service is included in the sales price of the cans and is therefore free of charge for you.
